We're giving back to our local communities, serving those who have sacrificed for us, and speaking loudly with those whose voices are not being heard.
At AE Cares we are proud to engage with our community through volunteering, donations, and valuable partnerships. This video highlights the impact AE Cares has on our volunteers, and our community. We hope you will take a few minutes to watch.
We're committed to making a positive impact within the communities near and dear to our hearts.
As part of our mission to give back to our local community, each AE Business Solutions employee is given two “AE Cares Days” annually, which they can use to volunteer with an organization of their choosing within their community.
During AE Cares Days, AE Business Solution employees have helped multiple food pantries package groceries for easy distribution throughout the community.
Employees have also contributed to a “Prairie Restoration Effort” at Walking Iron County Park, dispersing seeds to restore and strengthen the landscape.
At AE Cares, our mission involves assisting, empowering, and honoring those who have sacrificed for us. We look for opportunities to care for military veterans and their families throughout Wisconsin. This involvement includes many different Veteran-focused activities and events during the year. We would welcome the opportunity to have you support or join us!
Employees visited veterans living at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc, greeting and thanking each veteran personally, and handing out flags and treats. Employees also attended Shorehaven’s Veterans Day service; during the service, one of our own veterans “pinned” each veteran and thanked them for their service.
We placed almost 5,000 flags at cemeteries in Madison, Milwaukee, Waukesha counties to mark the graves of those who served, remembering and honoring them for their deep sacrifice.
We join the fight for racial equality, speaking loudly with those whose voices have historically been ignored. We’re committed to directing our minds, voices, hands and feet, and financial assistance to causes, organizations, and individuals seeking justice and equality for those who are oppressed and those who have been oppressed. Today, our immediate area of focus is supporting racial equality for People of Color.
We are excited to partner with Maydm. Maydm equips girls and youth of color in grades 6-12 with the technical skills to engage in and revolutionize the technology industry. We are excited to come along side students we are excited to learn and hopefully begin a long trajectory towards a long and vibrant career within a STEM tech industry.
We are joining a movement that's been in motion for years and years, and we have a lot to learn. We are committed to learning through site visits to the places like America's Black Holocaust Museum in Milwaukee, we learn through corporate holidays on MLK Day and Juneteenth, we learn through podcasts, recommended books, attending the Justified Anger course offered through the Nehemiah Project, and by listening and learning to our friends, colleagues, neighbors and community that has been or is being impacted by racial inequality.
